Qatar Creates is a year-round cultural movement and a platform for arts and culture in Qatar. We champion and nurture talent. We are building a movement of access to the very best that our nation has to offer. Working with partners we are embedding arts and culture into Qatari society. Our premier product, the One Pass, gives our audiences easy, direct, and simple access to all of Qatar’s cultural offerings.
Qatar Creates allows the public to hear about and access cultural activities, an unrivalled opportunity to immerse themselves and fully experience the myriad of cultural, leisure and entertainment offerings across the country. Led by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar Creates showcases local and global talent to the world.
Qatar Creates week will take place in Doha, Qatar, from April 18 to April 20.
Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive program of opening receptions, exhibition and museum tours and other cultural activities.
The event is by invitation only. You cannot transfer your invitation to another person if you are unable to attend.
Yes, flights and hotel accommodations are provided for all international guests invited to the event.
Airport transfers in Doha and ground transportation to and from official event venues will be provided for all out of town guests.
Details for confirming attendance will be provided in your invitation. Please follow the instructions outlined to ensure your participation.
The dress code for each event will be outlined in your itinerary.
We will have a variety of menu options available to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please let us know about any specific dietary requirements during your registration so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
The weather in Doha in late April can range anywhere from 22-33 Celsius / 70-100 °F during the day and it is relatively humid. It can be chilly indoors, so a shawl or cardigan is recommended.
Attitudes towards dress are relaxed in Qatar, though visitors are expected to show respect for local culture by avoiding excessively revealing clothing in public places. We recommend clothing that covers the shoulders and knees.
Qatar uses a G-type (British) plug.
